Buying Guide

Indoor vs. Outdoor

Indoor PVC floors offer superior shock absorption and ball rebound for sports performance. Outdoor variants feature waterproof backing, UV resistance, and drainage channels for all-weather use.

  • Indoor: Badminton, Basketball, Tennis, Dance
  • Outdoor: Pickleball, Playground, Multi-sport

Thickness & Structure

Typical PVC sports floors range from 4.5 mm to 8 mm. Thicker floors provide better shock absorption and player protection. Structure layers -- foam, glass fiber, wear layer -- determine performance class.

  • 4.5-6 mm: Standard training & recreation
  • 7-8 mm: Competition & high-traffic venues

Certification & Standards

Competitive venues require certified floors. EN 14904 covers indoor sports. BWF approves badminton courts. FIBA certifies basketball floors. Always confirm certification applies to the specific product model.

  • EN 14904: Indoor sports surfaces
  • BWF / FIBA / ITF: Sport-specific approval

Stock, MOQ & Lead Time

Standard specs may be available from stock for urgent orders. Custom colors, thicknesses, and patterns are produced to order. MOQ and lead time vary by product, quantity, and specification -- confirm before committing to project timelines.

  • Stock: smaller quantities, faster dispatch
  • Production: confirm MOQ + lead time first

Installation Essentials

Proper subfloor preparation is critical. PVC rolls require adhesive or tape installation with heat welding for seams. PP tiles interlock without adhesive. Moisture testing before installation prevents delamination and warping.

  • Subfloor: flat, dry, clean, structurally sound
  • Accessories: welding rod, tape, edging

Samples & Approval

For new projects, consultants, or tender submissions, request physical samples before ordering. Standard samples are typically free; courier cost is on the buyer. Confirm color, pattern, and thickness match before bulk production.

  • New project / new color: always sample first
  • Repeat orders: skip if spec unchanged
