Products

What flooring products does Sportaflor supply?

Our core range covers six product families:

  • →Indoor PVC Sports Flooring -- rolls for badminton, basketball, tennis, table tennis, multisport, fitness and dance courts.
  • →Outdoor PVC Sports Flooring -- weather-resistant rolls for outdoor basketball, badminton, tennis, pickleball and playgrounds.
  • →Commercial Vinyl Flooring -- homogeneous and heterogeneous vinyl for offices, schools, hospitals, factories and commercial spaces.
  • →Rubber Flooring -- mats (indoor, interlocking, outdoor) and rolls for gyms, fitness rooms and heavy-use areas.
  • →PP Sports Tiles -- modular interlocking tiles for indoor and outdoor sports courts, roller skating and kindergartens.
  • →Polyurethane Rubber Soundproofing Mats -- underlayer materials for sound insulation and vibration reduction.
What is the difference between Indoor and Outdoor PVC Sports Flooring?
Outdoor PVC Sports Flooring adds or enhances waterproof backing, moisture resistance, drainage design and weather resistance compared to the indoor range. It is engineered to withstand UV exposure, temperature swings and rain. Indoor flooring prioritises shock absorption, ball rebound, surface friction and sport-specific performance under controlled conditions. Please specify your application clearly so we can recommend the correct product.
What is the difference between Homogeneous and Heterogeneous Vinyl Flooring?

Homogeneous vinyl has a single, uniform structure throughout -- the same material from top to bottom. This makes it highly durable under heavy traffic and easy to re-surface when worn.

Heterogeneous vinyl is a multi-layer composite, typically including a wear layer, surface layer, glass fibre/stable layer, optional foam layer, and backing. It offers more design flexibility and comfort underfoot. The right choice depends on traffic level, maintenance requirements, budget and technical specification.

What patterns and thicknesses are available for PVC Sports Flooring?

Common indoor patterns include Gem, Sand, Wood, Flex and Honeycomb. Outdoor patterns include Gem, Wood, Sand, Litchi and Flex. Standard roll size is approximately 1.8 m × 15 m.

TypeCommon Thickness
Indoor PVC Sports4.5 / 6.0 / 7.0 / 8.0 mm
Outdoor PVC Sports4.5 / 6.0 / 7.0 / 8.0 mm

Availability by thickness and pattern varies. Please confirm your exact requirement with us.

What products do you recommend for a gym or fitness room?
For gyms and fitness rooms, Rubber Mats and Rubber Rolls are the primary recommendation. Rubber Mats (available in 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 mm thickness) are suitable for free-weight areas, equipment zones and high-impact training. Rubber Rolls provide large-area continuous coverage. The right product depends on the specific area, equipment load, thickness requirement and budget. We are happy to advise based on your project details.
02

Stock

Do you keep products in stock?
We operate a mixed model: some standard specifications are held in stock, while most bulk orders are produced after confirmation. We cannot guarantee that every product, thickness, colour or quantity is available off the shelf at any given time. Stock status must be confirmed per enquiry based on exact product, thickness, colour, specification and quantity.
How do I check whether a specific item is available?
Contact us directly with the following details and we will confirm stock status promptly: Product type → Thickness → Colour / Pattern → Quantity. For urgent orders, please also mention your required delivery date so we can advise the fastest available option.
Can I place a small top-up or urgent order?
If the item is in stock, smaller quantities may be possible. MOQ for stock items is generally lower than for made-to-order production. Please share your exact requirement and we will advise on availability, price and minimum quantity.
03

Price

Can you give me a price right away?
For standard products and normal quantities, we can provide a reference price or price range quickly. Just tell us: product type, thickness, pattern/colour and approximate quantity. A formal quotation will follow once all specifications are confirmed.
What factors affect the final price?
Price is influenced by product type, thickness, pattern, colour, quantity, customisation requirements, accessories, line marking, trade term (FOB/CFR/etc.), destination port, payment terms, and current raw material and freight costs. Prices are not fixed and may vary between orders.
Is the quoted price the final price?
A reference price or price range is not a formal quotation. A formal quotation is issued after exact specifications, quantity, trade term and delivery requirements are confirmed. The PI (Proforma Invoice) represents the agreed price for that specific order.
04

MOQ

What is your minimum order quantity?
There is no single MOQ that applies to all products. MOQ depends on whether the item is in stock, whether it requires standard or custom production, and the specific product and specification. Stock items generally allow smaller quantities; made-to-order and custom products require a minimum that must be confirmed per enquiry. Please share your exact requirement and we will advise accordingly.
Can I order a small quantity for a single project?
It depends on the product and whether it is in stock. We work with distributors and contractors on both project orders and stock replenishment. Contact us with your project area, product type and timeline -- we will confirm whether your quantity is feasible and at what price.
05

Lead Time

How long does production take?
Lead time cannot be stated as a single fixed number. It depends on the product, specification, customisation requirements, quantity and current production schedule. Stock items ship faster; made-to-order and custom items require production time that must be confirmed per order. Always tell us your project deadline so we can advise whether it is achievable.
When does production start?
For T/T payment orders, production begins after the agreed prepayment is received. For L/C orders, production begins after the Letter of Credit has been received and confirmed as acceptable. A signed PI alone does not trigger production scheduling.
I have a tight project deadline. What should I do?
Contact us as early as possible with your product requirements and deadline. We will check stock availability first, then advise on the fastest production and shipping option. Urgent orders may have different pricing or MOQ conditions -- we will be transparent about this.
06

Customization

What parameters can be customised?
Standard customisation covers thickness, colour, density, certain sizes, and welding rod colour. Some material or structural parameters can also be adjusted within established product rules. Special patterns, new structures, non-standard thicknesses, special materials or performance requirements must be assessed individually for feasibility, MOQ, cost and lead time before confirmation.
Can I request a completely new product design?
Requests for new patterns, new structures or non-standard specifications need to be evaluated case by case. We will confirm feasibility, minimum order quantity, additional cost and lead time before any commitment. Please share your detailed requirements and we will respond with a clear assessment.
How consistent are colour and specification across repeat orders?
We work to maintain consistency in colour, thickness, pattern, material and density across repeat orders of the same specification. For critical colour-matching requirements -- such as adding to an existing installation -- please advise us in advance so we can take appropriate steps during production.
07

Samples

Can I request a sample before placing an order?
Yes. We recommend samples for new customers, new projects, new products, new colours or thicknesses, and when consultant or end-client approval is required. Standard small samples are generally provided free of charge; the customer covers courier costs. Special or high-cost samples may be charged. Established customers reordering the same specification may not need to resample.
How long does it take to receive a sample?
Sample dispatch time depends on whether the item is in stock and your location. International courier delivery times vary by destination. Please share your address and we will advise on timing and courier options.
08

Certification

What certifications do your products hold?
Available certifications and test reports vary by product and model. We only confirm certifications that exist and match the specific product type. Common references include EN 14904 for indoor sports surfaces, BWF approval for badminton, FIBA for basketball, ITF for tennis, and fire/VOC/IAQ standards for commercial vinyl. Please tell us which certification you require and for which product -- we will confirm whether it is available for that specific item.
Does one certificate cover all your products?
No. A single certificate or test report does not automatically cover the entire product range. Certifications are model-specific. Always confirm with us that the certificate you need applies to the exact product model and specification you are ordering.
Can you obtain a new certification if we need one?
When a new certification or test is required -- such as BWF, specific fire ratings, environmental, slip resistance or ball rebound -- we will first assess whether it is available, whether it can be obtained, the cost, the lead time and who bears the expense. We will not make any commitment until these points are confirmed internally.
09

Technical Documents

What technical documents can you provide?
We can provide product data sheets, technical specifications, test reports, certificates, installation guides and other supporting documents as available for the specific product. Documents are provided per model -- not as a blanket package for the entire range. Tell us exactly which product and which documents you need.
I need to submit documents to a consultant or tender committee. Can you help?
Yes. Share the tender or consultant requirements with us, including which standards, certifications and technical parameters are specified. We will confirm which of our products match, provide the relevant documents, and advise on any gaps. Responding quickly to tender timelines is a priority -- contact us as early as possible.

Installation

What is the general installation process for PVC Sports Flooring?

The general process for PVC sports rolls involves the following steps. Exact requirements depend on the specific product and project conditions:

  1. 01Unroll and allow the material to acclimatise to the room temperature.
  2. 02Align rolls according to the layout plan.
  3. 03Apply adhesive tape or adhesive as required.
  4. 04Groove the seams for heat welding.
  5. 05Weld seams using the correct welding rod.
  6. 06Trim and finish the welding rod flush with the surface.

Subfloor condition, moisture levels, temperature and adhesive selection all affect the result. We provide installation guidelines and can offer technical advice for specific projects.

What subfloor requirements should I be aware of?
The subfloor must be clean, dry, flat and structurally sound. Moisture content must be within acceptable limits -- excessive moisture is a leading cause of adhesion failure and floor lifting. Unevenness beyond tolerance must be corrected before installation. We can advise on specific subfloor requirements for each product type.
Do you send installation teams?
We are a materials supplier. Our primary customers are distributors, contractors and installers who carry out installation themselves. We provide installation guidelines, technical data and support. For specific project advice, contact us with your project details and we will assist as far as possible.
11

Accessories

What installation accessories do you supply?

Accessories available include:

  • →Welding Rod / Welding Wire (colour matched to the floor)
  • →Adhesive Tape / Double-sided Tape
  • →Edging / Skirting

Availability and compatibility must be confirmed per product. Always order accessories together with the main floor to ensure colour and specification matching.

Can I order accessories separately from the flooring?
Yes, accessories can be ordered separately. However, for colour-critical items such as welding rods, it is strongly recommended to order them at the same time as the main flooring to ensure a consistent batch match. Contact us with the product reference and colour to confirm availability.
12

Line Marking

Can you provide court line marking?
Yes. Line marking is a court layout service, not a standard accessory. There are two options: lines can be applied at the factory before shipment, or we can provide detailed layout dimensions, plans and technical guidance for your local installation team to apply on site. Tell us your sport, court dimensions and line colour requirements and we will advise on the best approach.
Does factory line marking affect lead time or cost?
Factory line marking requires additional production time and is priced separately. The exact cost and additional lead time depend on the court layout, number of sports lines and quantity. Please include line marking requirements when submitting your initial enquiry so we can factor them into the quotation and schedule.
13

Payment

What are your standard payment terms?
Our default payment terms are 50% T/T prepayment, with the remaining 50% balance paid before shipment. L/C and other payment arrangements are considered on a per-order basis and must be agreed in advance.
When is an order confirmed?
An order is confirmed when payment is received. For T/T orders, confirmation occurs upon receipt of the agreed prepayment. For L/C orders, confirmation occurs once the Letter of Credit has been received and verified as acceptable. Verbal acceptance, price agreement or a signed PI represents an order intention -- it does not constitute a confirmed order or trigger production.
Can we use L/C or other payment methods?
L/C and alternative payment terms are evaluated on a per-order basis. Please raise this during the negotiation stage so we can confirm feasibility and any associated conditions before issuing the PI.
14

Shipping

What trade terms do you offer?
Our default trade term is FOB from a Chinese port (the specific port depends on the product and factory location). We can also arrange CFR/CNF on request. Sea freight is the primary shipping mode; rail freight is available for certain destinations. If you have your own freight forwarder, we will coordinate with them. If not, we can assist with freight arrangements.
How are the goods packaged for export?
Each product has a standard export packaging format. Special labelling, shipping marks, palletisation, waterproofing reinforcement or packaging by colour/specification can be arranged but must be confirmed in advance and may incur additional charges. Please specify any packaging requirements when placing your order.
Do you provide QC inspection before shipment?
Yes. We conduct internal QC before every shipment. We can provide production, finished goods and packing photos or videos upon request. If you require third-party inspection, we can coordinate access for your nominated inspector.
15

Export Documents

What export documents do you prepare?

Standard export documents we handle include:

  • →Proforma Invoice (PI)
  • →Commercial Invoice (CI)
  • →Packing List (PL)
  • →Bill of Lading information, draft and final B/L
  • →Shipping Marks
  • →Certificate of Origin / Form E
  • →Technical Data Sheets and Certificates / Test Reports
  • →Other customs clearance documents as required
What details do I need to provide for correct documentation?
For each shipment we will confirm: product description, HS code, consignee details, notify party, shipping marks, Form E or other origin certificate requirements, required certificates and technical documents, and any local customs or import requirements at the destination. Please provide accurate consignee information and advise us of any destination-specific requirements in advance to avoid clearance delays.
Can you provide a Form E or Certificate of Origin?
Yes. Form E (ASEAN-China FTA) and standard Certificates of Origin are available for eligible shipments. If your destination requires a specific origin certificate or preferential trade document, please advise us early so we can confirm eligibility and arrange accordingly.
16

After-sales

What is your after-sales process if there is a problem?

When an issue is reported, we follow a structured process:

  1. 01Collect information: order number, batch, quantity affected, photos and video of the issue.
  2. 02Assess whether the issue relates to the product, packaging, transportation, installation or usage.
  3. 03Confirm responsibility internally before proposing a resolution.
  4. 04Agree on a resolution: replacement, replenishment, compensation in a future order, credit or partial refund -- depending on confirmed responsibility.

We do not make compensation commitments before responsibility is confirmed.

When is an order considered fully closed?
An order is fully closed when: the goods have been received by the customer, all necessary export documents and customs clearance matters are resolved, and any known after-sales issues have been addressed. Shipment alone does not close an order -- we remain responsible until delivery and document completion are confirmed.
I am a repeat customer. Do I need to go through the full process again?
For established customers reordering the same product and specification, we skip company introduction, basic product education and previously confirmed documents. However, for every repeat order we will confirm: exact product, specification, colour and quantity; current price, stock status and lead time; payment and shipping terms; packing and document requirements. If you are ordering a new product, new specification or for a new application, the standard process applies from the relevant step.
